Renowned businessman and opinion leader in Denu, Mr. Vincent Gbadegbe, has called on the people of Denu and its surrounding communities to consciously set good examples for their children and the wider society, stressing that attitude is the foundation of nation-building and sustainable development.

Mr. Gbadegbe made the call during the ground donation ceremony led by Torgbui Baku IV, Dufia of Denu, an event which underscored the importance of unity, responsibility and communal progress.

According to him, the future of Denu depends largely on the values being passed on to the younger generation. He noted that development is not achieved solely through infrastructure but through positive mindset, discipline, respect for leadership, and collective responsibility.

“Development starts from our attitude. If we show commitment, honesty and respect for one another, our children will grow up with the same values, and Denu will prosper,” he said.

Mr. Gbadegbe further appealed to all natives of Denu Dua, both home and abroad, to remain focused on developmental and objective-driven initiatives that will advance education, peace, and economic growth in the area. He encouraged unity of purpose and the setting aside of personal differences in favour of the collective good.

He commended Torgbui Baku IV for his leadership and vision, describing the ground donation as a strong symbol of selfless service and traditional authority’s role in modern development. Mr. Gbadegbe urged the community to rally behind the Dufia and support initiatives aimed at transforming Denu into a model municipality.

The ceremony brought together traditional leaders, community members, and stakeholders, reinforcing a shared commitment to building a peaceful, disciplined and development-oriented Denu.
