The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has joined key municipal and parliamentary leaders to cut sod at Dzodze Fiagbedu R.C. School, marking the commencement of construction of a two-unit Kindergarten (KG) classroom block with ancillary facilities.


The ceremony was also attended by the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Edem Agbana, and the Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu North, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, alongside education officials, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders.


Addressing the gathering, the leaders emphasized the importance of strong foundational education, noting that investment in early childhood infrastructure is critical to improving learning outcomes and nurturing the next generation.
The project is expected to provide a safer, more conducive learning environment, reduce congestion in existing classrooms, and enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning for pupils in the Dzodze Fiagbedu community.
